Puglia Silk Pocket Squares | Baroque Design & Como Silk
Puglia in Silk: How Baroque Architecture Inspired Our New Italian Pocket Square Collection
There are places in Italy that stay with you long after you leave.
Puglia is one of them.
It is in the way the sunlight touches white stone at golden hour. In the rhythm of carved façades in Lecce. In the quiet geometry of Alberobello’s trulli. In the electric blue of Polignano’s sea cliffs and the warm terracotta shades of Bari’s historic streets.
Our new Puglia pocket square Collection by Serà Fine Silk was born from exactly this feeling: the desire to transform one of the soul of Southern Italy into Italian silk pocket squares made in Como, designed to carry a story in every fold.
More than a menswear accessory, this collection is a tribute to Puglia’s architecture, colors, and atmosphere, translated into silk through our design language and handcrafted Italian craftsmanship.
From a Camera Roll of Puglia to Wearable Silk
The collection began not in the studio, but in a moment of wonder.
During a journey through Puglia, our Creative Director found herself instinctively capturing details that felt too beautiful to leave behind: the honeyed glow of stone at sunset, the sculpted flourishes of Baroque façades in Lecce, the quiet symmetry of old palazzi, wrought-iron balconies, carved rosettes, and the layered elegance of Southern Italian streets.
What began as a simple camera roll of travel memories slowly became the soul of the collection.
Back in Milan, those photographs became more than references. They became emotions to translate. Each image carried a sensation: the warmth of late afternoon light, the richness of ornament, the feeling of standing in front of centuries of craftsmanship and beauty. Our design process started from there, with the desire to preserve not just what was seen, but what was felt.

From those memories, we designed a series of Italian silk pocket squares made in Como, created to express the beauty, visual richness, and emotional atmosphere of Puglia.
The swirling motifs in the print recall the stone scrolls found on church façades and noble palazzi. The borders echo decorative cornices and architectural frames. Rosettes, curves, and ornamental lines were reinterpreted in silk to preserve the same sense of depth, elegance, and vivid beauty first experienced during that journey.

What makes the collection special is that it does not simply borrow from architecture.
It transforms a personal encounter with Puglia into wearable storytelling, where memory, design, and craftsmanship meet.
The result is a silk pocket square deeply rooted in Italy’s visual culture, yet bold, contemporary, versatile, and designed to move effortlessly between menswear, womenswear, and travel styling.
A Journey Through Six Cities of Puglia
Once the architectural design was complete, we let the colors of Puglia and the landscapes of Southern Italy shape the next chapter of the collection.
Each of these Italian silk pocket squares made in Como was created as a tribute to a different city, atmosphere, or travel memory — from the coastal blues of Polignano and Otranto to the terracotta walls of Bari, from the white stone beauty of Ostuni and Alberobello to the golden light that falls over the Adriatic at sunset.
Every palette was designed to capture not only a place, but the emotion of being there: the warmth of sunlit piazzas, the calm of seaside evenings, the richness of baroque stone, and the soft pastel tones that make Puglia so unforgettable.
Beyond the classic jacket pocket, each Made in Italy Como silk pocket square is designed as a versatile unisex silk accessory, effortlessly transforming into a silk neck scarf, a handbag detail, a hair ribbon, or an elegant travel companion.
A collection created to move between menswear, womenswear, summer weddings, destination dressing, and everyday Italian elegance.
Bari — Mediterranean Light in Silk
The Bari pocket square captures the vibrant rhythm of the city through sky blue, stone white, terracotta orange, deep navy, and ruby accents. Inspired by sunlit façades, hidden courtyards, hand-painted shutters, and the warm terracotta tones of historic streets, it reflects the lively Mediterranean elegance that defines Bari.
Touches of blue recall the Adriatic light, while the warmer red and orange notes echo tiled floors, market awnings, and the glow of sunset against old stone walls. It brings effortless brightness to navy tailoring, cream jackets, and summer linen suits, adding freshness without losing sophistication.
Beyond menswear, it works beautifully as a unisex silk neck scarf, softly tied under an open shirt, or wrapped around the handle of a leather tote for a refined Italian touch.
Fasano — Warm Earth and Summer Tables
Rich, grounded, and deeply atmospheric, the Fasano silk pocket square blends burnt red, sage green, powder blue, warm cream, and orange, inspired by countryside tables set under olive trees, ceramic plates, rustic villas, and the warm earth tones of inland Puglia.
The palette feels almost culinary and architectural at once: terracotta reds, herbaceous greens, sun-faded blues, and creamy neutrals that evoke long summer lunches and stone farmhouses surrounded by nature.
It pairs beautifully with brown blazers, olive jackets, safari looks, and cream tailoring, while around the neck it becomes a sophisticated silk foulard for both men and women.
Ostuni — The Romantic White City
The Ostuni silk pocket square translates the dreamlike charm of the white city into silk through dusty pink, blush rose, cream, chocolate brown, and navy accents.
Inspired by blooming bougainvillea, pastel shutters, soft stone staircases, and whitewashed walls glowing at sunset, this design has a poetic, almost cinematic softness. The pink notes bring warmth and romance, while the deeper navy and brown details add structure and depth.
Elegant in grey, beige, and navy tailoring, it also transforms beautifully into a pink silk foulard, tied at the neck, in the hair, or on a handbag.
Alberobello — Geometry and Quiet Elegance
Inspired by the iconic trulli rooftops, pale stone paths, and geometric village details, the Alberobello silk pocket square blends light blue, ochre yellow, beige, chocolate brown, and green.
The composition mirrors the calm geometry of the village itself: repeating shapes, natural stone contrasts, and warm sunlight against cool sky tones. Ochre and beige reflect sunlit walls, while the blues and greens bring freshness and movement.
The architectural feeling of this palette makes it perfect for linen jackets, denim shirts, safari blazers, and neutral travel wardrobes, while tied to a weekender bag it becomes an elegant design detail.
Gallipoli — Coastal Resort Mood
The Gallipoli silk pocket square brings together warm cream, Mediterranean blue, caramel, emerald green, and taupe, inspired by beach umbrellas, fishing nets, sun-washed boats, striped loungers, and the relaxed glamour of the Salento coast.
The cream and caramel notes recall sandy shores and limestone walls, while the vivid blues and emerald greens mirror the sea, painted shutters, and colorful harbor life.
It is one of the most versatile styles in the collection, perfect with blue blazers, cream tailoring, tobacco linen, or as a silk scarf tied onto a beach tote or straw bag.
Polignano — Sunset on the Cliffs
The Polignano pocket square captures the most cinematic side of Puglia with sunset orange, bright sky blue, navy, warm red, and golden sand tones.
Inspired by striped beach umbrellas, dramatic cliffs, terracotta balconies, and the changing light over the sea, this design feels bold, vibrant, and unmistakably Mediterranean. The orange and sand notes reflect the warmth of golden hour, while the blues bring the crisp energy of the Adriatic.

Bold and collectible, it transforms a navy blazer into a statement and works beautifully as a silk neck scarf for men or women, especially with white linen and resort dressing.
Otranto — Deep Blue Riviera Elegance
The Otranto silk pocket square moves into the cooler, more serene side of the Adriatic with navy, ocean blue, crisp white, forest green, and seafoam turquoise.
Inspired by coastal cliffs, cactus greens, lighthouse whites, and the deep marine blue of the sea at dusk, this design feels calm, elegant, and timeless. The contrast between cool blues and green accents gives it a distinctly Riviera-inspired sophistication.
Refined and timeless, it is effortless with navy suits, blue blazers, white linen, and dark green knitwear, while around the neck it becomes a Riviera-inspired silk scarf with understated luxury.
Perfect for Summer Weddings, Garden Celebrations, and Elegant Getaways
Some journeys stay with you in photographs.
Others remain in the way they change how you see beauty.

The Puglia Collection by Serà Fine Silk was created to preserve exactly that feeling: the golden light on Lecce stone, the pastel calm of Ostuni, the deep blues of Otranto, the terracotta warmth of Bari, and the cinematic sunsets of Polignano.
Each Italian silk pocket square made in Como becomes more than an accessory. It is a fragment of architecture, memory, and atmosphere — designed to move effortlessly from a jacket pocket to a silk neck scarf, from a summer wedding look to a handbag detail, from menswear to womenswear.
The softer palettes of Ostuni, Bari, Alberobello, and Gallipoli make these designs especially beautiful for summer weddings, garden ceremonies, destination celebrations, and elegant masseria evenings in Puglia, where linen tailoring, pastel tones, and refined accessories come together naturally.
And if your own journey brings you to Milan, a must-visit destination is our Serà Fine Silk boutique, tucked away in the city’s most charming historic district, where the Puglia Collection can be discovered alongside our world of Como silk ties, pocket squares, foulards, and handcrafted Italian accessories.
A final memory of Southern Italy, ready to travel with you.
