Everyone’s currently talking about the 90th annual Oscars held on March 4th in Lospic Angeles, California.
Congrats to the best picture of the year “Shape of Water”, a film about Elisa, a mute, isolated women who works as a cleaning lady in a hidden, high-security government laboratory in 1962 Baltimore. And a special shout out to Gary Oldman winning best actor in a leading role in the film Darkest Hour and Frances McDormand for winning best actress in a leading role in the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Make sure to watch these fantastic films that won the most prestigious awards at the Oscars.
Every year the Academy Awards are not just known for the presenting the best films, but the red carpet outfits are always creating chatter! The men of the Oscars have really taken the “Black-Tie” dress code to another level this season. Especially this year, we’ve noticed that many outfits had a classic bow-tie look with a twist. Velvet was definitely a popular fabric present this season as seen in the suits and bow-ties on the carpet.
Here are some of Serà fine silk’s top choices for the best dressed men of the 2018 Oscars! We paired our similar bow-tie styles with the photos of the actors so you too can re-create a perfect look inspired by the best red carpet outfits of the Oscars.
